Not a lot of roads in the Big Bend but they are all good rides.  Be sure and ride the River Road (170 I think) from Study Butte to Presido and then back.  Don't go to Mexio!!  Ride up the the Chizos Mt. Lodge and it is also a good place to stay.

If you get into Terlingua go out 170 till it crosses Terlingua creek ( about 1 to2 miles). There is an RV park on the left inside the park is a place called La Kiva, good place to wine and dine. The star theather cafe is also good eats, kind of pricey but out there most stuff is. I read on the internet that the Terlingua Ranch Lodge and cafe is close right now might check their website. Kind of neat but 23 miles off highway 118 back in the mountains. We use to ride out there once a year on an ama sponsored enduro  weekend ride. Most the people are very freindly and helpful. Once while waiting for a construction crew to repave a section of road the girl flagging for the crew saw how hot and tired we looked she went to her truck and brought us so adult beverages and smokes. Have a ball Smiley

The ride to Presidio is great but the the people who live there,  and in that crap hole Ojinga,  were hostile to blonds when I was last there.  One of the wetbacks chunked a full beer at my brother in law and his girl (from a moving car, of course) as we walked back into the TX side. Stay away from the crossing but eat in the Oasis if its still open.
