Got my leaf blower out of storage where it's been sitting idle for the past 3. Need it to go help a friend over the next coupla days.

Put some fresh gas in with some Seafoam. Pulled the starter cord 3 times and it cranked right up.

I had put Stabil in the gas tank and run the blower for about 10 minutes before storing it.

I'm hoping that all my other gas powered yard tools will be as accomodating when it's time to carnk them up.

Seafoam....a funny story...For almost all of my life, I have gone to Wildwood NJ for vacation or just for a night on the boardwalk.  Wildwood NJ, for those of you who have never been, is a summer beach resort along the Southern Coast of NJ. In it's hayday in the 50's Wildwood was the hoppin spot to be, all the hotels and motels were designed in the 50's style architecture with chrome and neon. Over the past several months I have been organizing a charity ride from my town to Wildwood NJ, about 75 miles one way, for the 26th of this month. Sunday was the perfect day to finalize the route. The winds were light with not a cloud in the sky, the air was warm and the cages were few. We had a great ride down and scouted out Wildwood for parking and gather locations, we found both. On the way out of town on Ocean Drive, there was the classic Wildwood Motel...you guessed it "The SEAFOAM. I saw that sign and said to myself, wonder if the owner knows how many people use this miracle cure all. I promise to bring my camera on the ride and get a couple pics of "the Seafoam Motel".

If anyone in the South Jersey, Southeastern Pa and Northern De is reading this post and would like to join us, feel free to check out the site for the ride.  For those who can not join feel free to check it out also.

It is a super good cleaning solution along with helping try to keep the gas as fresh as possible over time.......

I've put it in MGM when it was running crappy and after about 20 miles or less, he was starting to get with the program as designed.   Stabil, and a bunch of other stuff hadn't fazed the old boy.....  It was recommended to me by a Parts Store in Florida during Bike Week.....   I was running on 4 cylinders and it was a dog.  I had a full tank of fresh gas and I just poured the whole can in.   When I store the equipment for the winter, the Trike, the Bike, the riding lawn mower all get a full can of SeaFoam........   If the batteries are up, they will all start on about the 4th or 5th turnover.....

I have used this for gas treatment but never put any in the crankcase. How much Seafoam do you use when changing the oil??

Use 1 oz per quart of oil...  Don't know how it works, but it will quiet things down if you've got a slightly noisy upper motor.
