A member here posted a German website offering Valk stuff that had a rear fender solo rack http://www.valkyrieparts.de/optical/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=53

I was thankful and immediately purchased said rack 2funny and was asked to post when I received it.  Well after a month and a day it finally came.  $152.17 including shipping and shipping was at least $65 of that.  I didn't take the time to figure the exchange rate  uglystupid2.  At least it was cheaper than the ones going on Ebay and it's new.  Still too much to pay.  In addition I think I got the last one.

Y'all remember years ago when just about eveything Valkyrie related on E-Bay was being bidded on by a guy with the handle Army 1954 ?...Several folks claimed he was from Germany... Could it be him with the cool Valkyrie parts and now unloading after the well has dried up on these parts?


Is the yellow sticker a price tag ? How much did these go for new ? I've got ( 3 ) of them but only bought one new and that was around 1999 and I can't remember  Undecided

The white sticker is just the Showchrome part number.  The green sticker says 69.90 euros or about $95 US.  I bought it for 57.84 euro.

yeah, i ordered mine at the end of dec. ....i'm still waiting for it and they can't find it via dhl so i may never see it.  here's hoping since yours took over a month.  Undecided

Well, have some faith.  I was never able to track it with the DHL number they gave me and I have been in contact with Ruth for the last week or so.  It finally showed up via USPS with DHL stickers on it.

Smoking Joe is correct. Army 1954 is Peter Leirich and Ruth  is his wife. He is from Germany. He has been buying Valkyrie parts and bikes for years. From what I am told he has a small warehouse full of stuff. He is still very active on Ebay with a different buyer name. Most of his items are shipped to his brother in law in Ft Meyers Fl or to a warehouse in Ft Lauderdale where he has a shipping container standing buy nearly all the time.
