Best way IMO is use www.photobucket.com  <---it's free....Load a few pictures ....Copy the " DIRECT LINK " .......See the picture icon above bottom left ? Copy/ Paste the Direct Link ...

] Your Picture Goes Here [

You gotta get your picture off your laptop and onto the Internet somehow, picasa, photobucket,
something like that....

Then you can put the URL    (URL = hteeteepee://someplace.net/yourpicture.jpg)  into your post,
highlight it and click on the picture icon above the first smiley face, in the row of smiley faces you
see above the typing window when you're posting...

Sonny. First open a new post or reply window.

Next, in a separate window, find the picture you want, something on the internet (not your computer memory).  Put the cursor on the picture you want to post and right click, you'll get a drop-down box, left click the "view image info" box.  A new window will open which gives the URL code for the picture itself (look for 'location').  Highlight the picture URL code, and right click-copy it.

Now back to your VRCC post, go up and look at the two rows of boxes/icons..... Right under the Bold B is a miniature landscape picture in a frame.  If you left click that, [img][img] will appear in your new post or reply (at the place you left the cursor).  Right click the mouse cursor in-between the two 'img' boxes, and paste the picture url you copied earlier.  You won't see the pic appear, just the code.  But when you hit "post" your picture will appear.

Well again I guess I'm just not getting it.  I saved a pick in photobucket.com
I copied the link and clicked on the insert image icon.  All I get is the link posted, no picture.
This is irritating I can control 30 people and $4,000,000.00 worth of inventory at work but can't insert a freaken picture on the computer.

Sonny, you used the url icon rather than the img icon.  The img (image) icon is leftmost.  It looks like it has a little picture in it.

You have a couple of options. Paste the 'direct link' in your post, then highlight the whole link, THEN click on the 'insert image' icon (easier in my opinion then trying to get that click just perfect between the ]brackets[) OR...in the 'share this picture' window in photobucket click in the 'image code' box then just paste into your post.

Joe,

I did use photobucket. Like you said once you figure it out its very easy.

And everytime I see a picture of your Yellow & Cream Valk I want one.  I'm sure you already know if you go through all the photos posted on VRCC site you will see only a very small hand full of the Y&C ones.  And I have never seen anouther one like yours period.  Very rare, very nice, definately one to have for keeps.

There is one almost identical to mine here in the Kansas City area. Only the bags are painted a little different. I know becasue it was my first one.  A retired fireman owns it now.

Maybe one of these days we will get a chance to ride together.  Ya never know what the future has in store..
