Huffman, Texas close to Houston

I met up with Bruce saturday morning and did a mercy ride to Liberty to fix a flat on my moms car. We did a quick breakfast at Whataburger and then over to plug moms tire so she'ld have her wheels again. At 84 years young she keeps the wheel turning on her chevy. Then a short ride back to Crosby to pick up some lunch for Denise and I again at whataburber for some burgers and fries and cherry pies (sounds like a song don't it). Bruce and his wife ended up riding to wizards for a visit and Denise a I ended up at the Houston premium outlet mall on 290 for some shopping for the twins. You know how grandmas are.
Anyway we we ride with Bruce again soon. As Denise put it I've found a new little friend. cooldude

Thanks for the words, I really enjoyed myself last Saturday! The morning started out cold and clear, glorious with a trip two towns over and met Mr.Bubble's Mom. She was Great!. "said he was full of BS", LOL. We fixed the flat after some wire twisting for the el cheapo air compressor from her cigarette lighter. Full of it, I got Diansown on the back of the 'Fat Lady' for the first time and we went to Wizard's. He has been batchin it since Lyn-Del was traveling for the weekend. We had a wonderful time getting lost and twisting the throttle along Houston's freeways. Sounds pitiful, but I hadn't hit reserve on the new Valk since she adopted me in Mid December. It was good to test this very important function. We went 157 miles two up before the big event at mostly 75+ mph. I am totally satisfied with that. Wizard was his old self, giving us time and attention while we surveyed his substantial stable of rides. I announced to him that "he had managed to piss me off". He proudly had pointed to his sharpened floor boards when I suddenly realized that they were lower than my stock pegs. LMAO... I, sadly cannot scrape anything on my bike. The little huevos are just not big enough yet. (I'm working on it) I missed my first day of riding yesterday since I started riding again. Just rain and more rain all day. Made up for it today and I surely won't miss any more this week. My heart goes out to all our Northern Brothers who cannot get out of the driveway. I cannot wait for the Mid-Winter Gathering. QOTFU has suggested a ride to the Mid-Winter Gathering from Houston. How about it Mr.Bubbles? Can you and your SO coordinate a meet and ride with me and Diansown for this trip? It has to be a win/win for the weekend. Thanks again guys, this is a wonderful way to live and share the addiction that is Motorcycling on the greatest bike in the world.

I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be there and meet your wife.  She sounds like a great lady!  I'll be home next week for a day or two, fly in Wednesday, leave on Friday (just for the weekend this time).

Y'all help keep Wizard out of trouble, y'hear?
