Does anyone know where I can buy Russell SS brake lines for a 99 IS? I have been looking and have mainly seen front lines for the IS, and rear lines for the standard and tourer. Do the rear ones interchange between models? Do I have to eliminate the block that the front lines run into when I go to the SS lines? What about the clutch side? Any other suggestions / comments are appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

Galfer makes all the lines you will need.
The fronts replace the block with a new one.
And then the clutch and rear brake are also
well made.

YEP, Galfer makes all the lines.
You can find the full set (Front, Rear & Clutch) with a Bottle of DOT4 Galfer brake fluid for $199.99 on E-Bay. That's what I picked up and the look good and fit good also, sitting on the lift they also feel better (brake lever firmness that is).

But to answer your question, No I have not had any experience with the Russel lines for brakes but I have found that Russel makes some awesome automotive lines and fittings.

Good luck with your project.

I bought two sets of Russel rear lines. Both are labeled  "Part No. 09551 "Rear Brk Line Valkyrie VN-P# R09551S". One of them has a second lable that says "R09551S 97-98 Honda Valkyrie/ Tourer/ Interstate (Rear) CC", they are the same length and have the same fittings at each end.
I plan to use one set on a standard and another on an I/S but haven't gotten around to it yet. They look to be comparable in quality to the Galfers.

Thanks for the help Brothers. I will look into finding the parts numbers for the Russels. Another member told me he had a problems with the Galfers rusting after moister got on them is why I was looking into the Russell brand. Anyone else running this brand have this trouble?
