Where the hell is "Centex N/S,"...? Hey Jess, I believe that would be short for "Central Texas North (Austin) / South (San Antonio). Hope this helps, Disco, formerly known as Dave in NorTex E

I might be up for it as long as we ainlt gonna be leaving too early... lawdy the Weather Channel says it's gonna me 35 degrees that morning... Afternoons are showing around sixty though so not too bad.
I have never met any of you guys and a I need to run the bike on some sort of shake-down ride before I head out for Big Bend in March...
Are we talking lower hill country (south of I-10) or upper hill country? (North of I-10)
Never did watch much football anyways...

Geezer...
That is A LOT of riding!
Luckenbach is just a skip and a jump for me, so that'd of Blanco would be a good starting for me... the road south from there runs down to Sisterdale and a couple of nice high spots with a few far horizons. I also like that dead arrow straight ride for F'burg out to exit 477 on I-10. This Sisters are nice... and if we go on Sunday we're likely to have it all to ourselves. There are a few nice rides out toward Llano and Enchanted Rock area... I even like that area from Mason out to Menard.
I am unlikely to have the entire day to devote to this, so I'll have to join up for awhile and tear away early...

Hey US385 , I myself am ready for anywhere , but it depends on what everybody else wants to do or go to .... last weekend we met in Johnson City and went from there to Granit Shoals to Inks Lake , LLano , Fredbrg and wound up in Luckenback ..... the weekend before we met in Blanco and planned from there .... so anybody jump just right in and suggest where to go .... I want to take advantage of some good riding weather myself , so if nothing else I'll go to Blanco Saturday morning and wait in the town square for any VRCC members to show up and from there I'll just follow my nose .... So it might be cool, but man thats why they invented jackets , chaps and gloves for ... so folks just chime in anytime with suggestions .... Thanks the Geezer

It's TxDeb's birthday weekend and her folks are coming in town weather permitting, so I'm letting her make the call. I'd love to make it if I can.

O'Tay...
A meeting... and just down the street from me? Are we talking Saturday or Sunday?
I am still hanging in there trying to work this with the wife... just for a chance to meet anyone. I'm a new Valk owner... I've been posting for awhile but haven't really met anyone. This might be a nice chance.
Lazerpat... PM sent.

So far Brother Curtis is interested in wanting to go for a little ride and I think US385 also , looking forward to meeting the lad .... I was thinking about tomorrow Saturday Feb 5 instead of Super Bowl Sunday , I'll be busy cooking Chili and A La Geezer's Nacho's maybe some Mex. cornbread ...... meeting around 12 noonish in Blanco in the Town Square , by that time it should be warm enough for our warm weather brothers to make it ..... it should be a in the 20's in the morning and reach a BALMY 60 degrees on Sat. ..... so how many of my brothers and sisters are interested ? just raise yo hand ... Hey US385 here's my cell ( 210) 852-0275 .... most of the Centex Group know my cell # to keep in touch ... and the Mrs. Geezer ( Lisa ) says Helllllll No !!! I ain't going ridin , toooooo cold she says and I'm crazy ..... Thanks the Geezer

Actually I'll be driving away from Dallas around 5PM today after we shoot a Maroon5 concert. That will happen after Celebrity Beach Bowl airs on Direct TV. Live 3D! FYI, I'm nice and warm in a big tent near downtown.

How did you like that Comfort Meet Market ? the weather could not have been better ....
