Well, we weren't on a Honda at the time, but I met them while on a Honda, so it still counts.

As some of you know, I travel to Alabama for work quite a bit.  I have met some great folks out there while on travel.  Some in passing, some more so.  I have ridden out there, and had the pleasure of riding with SlowRoad, RonK, and Santa, among others.  This past trip, I didn't bring the Valkyrie, but I did bring the family along.  With the intention of introducing them to my Valkyrie riding friends, we arranged to meet the aforementioned riders for dinner on last week.  Unfortunately, my daughter became quite ill on Monday, and we found ourselves in the hospital that night.  I had to cancel out on dinner, as my daughter was admitted and held there for several days.

Things could have ended there, but Southern hospitality will show itself.  I received several calls from each of the gentlemen, checking up on us, and offering to help out if I needed anything.  Santa even showed up to visit my wife and daughter at the hospital while I couldn't be there.  His wife came along as well, even though I KNOW she was quite busy and probably should have been off taking care of her own business.  The visited for a good long time, and brought some very thoughtful items along with them for my girls.  I know they appreciated it.
I don't usually talk about my personal life here, but I wanted to publicly thank all three of these guys for caring about an out-of-towner, and helping to make a difficult situation a bit better.

Your wife and Daughter are wounderful. I was glad to see that the Hospital was taking care of your daughter so well.  Taking care of our friends is what the VRCC is all about. The guys and Gals in this club are the people of America that you don't always hear about, we are the real people and proud of it. Give me a call the next time you come out.
