Where at 9:00AM tomorrow morning my son will stand tall before the man and answer a speeding ticket. 84mph in a 55mph zone!! I just hope he gets to keep his operators...  He admits to the deed and is just going to throw himself upon the mercy of the court and hope for the best. It is his first ticket of any kind and says he has learned his lesson.

Last time I had a ticket that out of balance I grabbed a lawyer to haggle it down for me to be on the safe side. Ofcourse, he accidently got me arrested, well his putting it off for another day lead to the court house clerk to punch in the wrong code which lead to a bench warrent for my arrest.
I don't think I've used a lawyer for a ticket since.
1st time should go a long way.

BS,
How'd that court appearance go with your son this morning?

My wife is going to court sometime in the next few weeks for a speeding ticket. It's only 9 miles over.

Hope all is well.

Hey Big IV,  $171.00 fine, 6 points and 6 months unsupervised probation. 380 people on the docket!!  Shocked   Those folks are writing a lot of tickets. He had to plead guilty to reckless driving. They really got his attention though and I think he will driving much slower in the future.........

If I had all the money I've paid in traffic fines...and the extra money I've spent on insurance and lawyers...it'd be a  yard full of Valks!

From what I seen, W-S appears to be a nice city, we may go back sometime for pleasure. He was speeding and knows he was in the wrong, nothing against the cops or the court........
