No Packers, Yes Steelers.

I hate the Packers but I still got in the pool at my old work.

The score I pulled was Packers 32 - Steelers 21.      Bah humbug, come on Steelers..

Ok, I am a Bears fan/Packer hater, born and bred.  But since the Bears are out of it, I'm a midwest fan (yes, even after this week's 20" snowfall and -20 F. wind chill), and not only that, but a local boy, Bryan Bulaga, is an offensive tackle for the Packers, and gets to play in the Super Bowl in his first NFL season!  So, I'll choke this out - GO PACKERS

I love all you bears fans that hate the packers!!  Just can’t stand the fact that a bunch of uneducated farm boys knocked your arses out of your chance to go to the big game!!  If it wasn’t for the crooked refereeing that you guys have down there, you would have never gotten as far as you did!!!

I don’t know if the packers are going to win, but I do know that jay cuttler would have CHOKED if he had to put up with the pressure!!

Looks like the Illinois governor doesn’t mind displaying the Packers flag!!

No matter which team you root for, this year we have two of the finest, proudest organizations in the NFL squaring off.  Being a native 'burgher, I am naturally pulling for the Steelers, but the Packers and their fans to me are a lot like those of the Steelers.  Good luck to both sides, I hope the officials stay out of the way and let them play.

I couldn't resist posting this video of some of the greats, there are a few of my favorites missing, most notably #20 Rocky Bleier.

Im an uneducated Il raised, farm GIRL, thank you very much, and i have the wisdom of Christ in me. i've not been educated into imbicility. and as as far as the Il gov. goes, we all know how educated the government is up there in the great state of illinois.
i'm not a packer hater, just a bears fan and who will root for any team that plays against the bears oldest  rivals. go steelers. 'nuff said.

I believe you will see a great game.... and the Steelers will probably send Green Bay packing their bags home without the trophy.... but time will tell.    Wink

Affiliation:  Cowboys fan   Cry   Born the same year the 'boys were formed.  I didn't have much of a choice.  I've had my heart broken by both teams and won some, too.  Both are great organizations with rightfully proud traditions.  But, to me, it breaks down like this.

Pittsburgh QB:  D bag

Green Bay QB:  Not a D bag

Go Pack Go!

I can't deny that.  I do not approve of his conduct.  But, I hope he has reformed his ways and will not embarrass the STEELER organization again.  Frankly, I'm amazed that they didn't can him.

I'll be pulling for the Packers 'cause I have a few VRCC friends in WI and my team didn't make it.

Someone please answer a question I have had forever.  What the Hell are they "packin'"?  The idea I have had of what it means....I can't say it here......... 2funny

Hard game to watch, been a Packer fan since I was old enough to be "indoctrinated" (Bart Starr, Ray Nitschke Super Bowl One days) and seen the lean years too. Steelers moved the ball at will but somehow my Pack pulled it out early and managed to hold on. Glad the games don't go 6 quarters, but I'm proud of my team. I can't remember a year where so many players were out early on from injuries, heck by week 4 we didn't even have a starting running back left. Somehow for every addition to the body count, another guy stepped up into the breech and quietly got the job done. I only saw one bad pass from Rogers the whole game and when nobody was open late in the game he was man enough to simply take the sack instead of "pulling a Favre". Steelers had some silly penalties early and it cost them the game IMO, but the Pack held on to it and shut them down near the end. For the rest of the football world, it starts from scratch next year.
RJ what on earth could you find to make you hate the Pack?
