Oh my... I went into it with an open mind, but wow that was horrible!
And that "performance" furthers my belief that the use of Autotune should be heavily regulated and require a warning label, that was some BAD autotuning!

Turned off the sound about 30 seconds into it. Only kept the show on in case they cut to a commercial. God-awful.

I didn't watch any of the game until midway through the 3rd quarter, and especially the half-time show. I had a hunch about it and sure glad I was busy tinkering in the shop. As for costs....they aren't paid for their performance, the league covers their expenses is all. So I've been told, can't swear to it. In this case it appears the league got exactly what they paid for.

Nothing like Aguilera botching the national anthem. Stupid broad forgot the words. And then we got Fergie yelling instead of singing. Halftime really sucked.

We got a couple inches of snow here so during the half time, I went out and cleared my driveway. While I was doing it, I wondered to myself if I should have watched it. From the what was said here and what's all over the news coverage this morning, I guess I didn't miss anything.
As for the National Anthem- we were just settling down in the living room with the pizza, hot wings, and other stuff so I wasn't paying full attention, but something didn't sound right to me. I guess if someone hires me to sing the national anthem, I'm going to learn the words forwards and backwards before I hold myself out there to do it in front of other people.
I agree with an earlier post about what a huge wast of money to make that whole set up and all those extra dancers. Maybe they should have used some of that money to finish building proper seats so 400-1000 people who had tickets were NOT turned away at the last minute.
Can you imagine? Going there with a legitimate ticket you bought only to find out it's no good!! I don't think words can describe how I would feel after I bought a plane ticket, got a hotel room and then cannot get into the stadium to watch.
DAMN! What a colossal screw up there!

Maybe not - I had the same problem. Most of the time, I could only see the GB score. Every now-and-then, they would change the screen so that I could see the whole thing.
I thought it was my TV, so I changed the aspect ratio, but to no avail. It kept changing back-and-forth without me doing anything, so it had to be how they were broadcasting. Really annoying.
I unfortunately heard a fair amount of the halftime show and decided it was in my best interest to walk away from the TV and make a phone call. Glad I did.
I can't remember the last good halftime show.

I'm guessing it's the way the cable company converted the HD signal to SD. We had the same problem on our old SD TV, but could see everything fine on the HD TV. Screen format is different.

Well, Jones isn't known for his intelligent choices. He fired the only winning coach that he ever had...JTL Jones wasn't in charge for this - it was the NFL. They took over the stadium for the Super Bowl and the lead up to it. They also came up with the outside ticket watching for $200 a head (and it rained). The seats that were not finished didn't have handrails and other safety equipment on them - apparently, the contractor walked out on the job at 10am on Saturday. That's all we know about that at this time. Lawsuits are on the way from the offended ticket holders. That was about 1% of the ticket holders if you think about it. 99% had the seat and game they wanted. With any luck, they went to the toilet during the half time fiasco, again, an NFL production. Jones does a lot of things that are worthy of criticism, but he wasn't the one to blame for these messups.

Are you an organ, tissue and eye donor for your state? Did you know one person can save or enhance the lives of up to 75 people. The # of people waiting for organs in the US would overflow the University of Michigan football stadium. It's the biggest in the country. Will seat over 109,000.

Christina should have know this song by now. I have heard some great singers and that wasn't one of them. The Black Eyed Peas are a good group, but apparently not a good live group. I really like the Cherry Dr Pepper comercial Fergie did. She is really hot in long black hair. Course the teddie she was wearing looked hot too! http://www.wikio.com/video/dr-pepper-cherry-ft-fergie-commercial-4915320
