There's a Love and War in Texas at 2505 E. Grapevine Mills Circle, Grapevine, TX 76051.

Last time I rode through Grapevine about a month ago, they had Hwy.121 closed completely. Had to take the service road until I could reach I-635. It was a mess. Does anybody know if the Hwy. is still closed for construction? I don't want to have to go through that again. It was stop and go traffic for quite awhile. Not fun on a motorcycle.

Flips was a popular requested destination but they wanted a guarantee on their meeting room or you had to pay for it.  Don't know if that is still true.

Golden Corral (sorry, had to mention it).  But you can fill up on a lot of food and get a room for free.

There's always Wilhoites if we want to get back to our roots.

Fuddruckers still has that separate room and we don't seem to mind the issue with separate tables anymore.

Spring Creek BBQ was a popular spot, too, until they screwed us out of our regular meeting room.

Go a little further south and Baron's favorite spot, Po Melvin's, had a lot of people attend and they gave us lots of free stuff.  But no separate room.

That's my quarter's worth.

Good call, Six Guns.  When we rode the 121/635/114 construction zone at the north end of the airport on the way to and from Mansfield, it was somewhere between nightmarish and treacherous.  In broad daylight.

One doesn't hit the worst of it if coming from the west and should skirt most of it if coming from the east on 114.  Not so if you're coming from 121 south or 635 east - or trying to get back that way...

Jean,

The Blue section of the map you provided was closed last month and the lime green section was down to 1 lane. Unless things have gotten better, I would suggest another meeting location. Before I go through that again, I would rather go further east somewhere. JMHO       Cool

La Hacienda
Love & War
Joe's Crab Shack
Flips
Back Porch

Southlake - Kincaid's Hamburgers, Cristina's Mexican, etc..........

Looks like I'm going to miss this month's meeting due to an Elementary School activity, though, so I'm all for March in Grapevine instead of Feb.  (Just saying  Cheesy)

How about Po Melvin's, avoid the north end traffic that way.

Good pick, Mr. President.

Hey Baron!  Can you get your buds at Po Melvin's to set us up?

I just spoke to Po Melvin's and they will be ready for us.  I told them set a table for 10 and to expect us around 6:30 to 7:00pm tomorrow.  If we need more or less seats that is not a problem.  Hope you all are hungry because they have some great food and plenty of it.

Unless the temp rises a lot and/or the sun comes out real bright, I will not be there.  No one has made it up my hill yet today.  A couple have tried, and gone back home.  The city/highway dept does not come down here.
