A friend of mine, hes on the board, just hasnt posted much in the past....he boght a "new to him" Valkyrie Std.  This this is virgin, never been wrenched on, but now needed tires and an air cleaner.  So we took both wheels off and got the new rubber mounted and went over the bike tightening intakes, cleaning stuff, changing final drive oil and some 0-Rings...r/r the tank/filter.  The splines were perfect and all went off without a hitch.

Bad weather most of the day so we put the tent up and spent the day turning wrenches...now he knows how to do it and he knows its done right!

That's exactly what my Valkyrie will be looking like as soon as the temp gets to 50 degrees for a couple of days.  Need to clean out the garage a little bit to make room for the lifted bike.  Got a couple of tires waiting to be mounted and looking forward to pulling the wheels off myself.  Also want to add slightly taller handlebars (which will probably require longer cables, wires, and lines).  Lots of work to do, but it's too darn cold to do it.
