Thinking of purchasing a tank from http://www.coyote-gear.com/10inch.html.  I have the 10x14 with an end filler in mind.  I want to mount it on the Cobra solo rack of my bike.  Any opinions?

Also it is about ZERO degrees outside so does anyone know the fuel line size coming off the shut off vavle?  I figure I could "T" it in there.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks

fuel line from petcock to "T" going to each set of carbs is 8mm (0.315")....5/16" (0.3125") is close, fits snugly, and does not require hose clamps.  3/8" is too big, but will work if you use hose clamps.

5/16" is available at any auto store.....no source for 8mm that I know of except OEM.

Failure to use hose clamps on any fuel line is a recipe for disaster!

Regardless of how tight a hose may fit on a barb.

This is not intended as criticism.

I wouldn't recommend it either and definitely use hose clamps.  My point was that it is a very snug fit to the point a hose clamp is only insurance with the 5/16" line.  The 3/8" line will pull off or leak without a good hose clamp and I wouldn't recommend that size for the fuel line, but it will work.
