Wow! That was remarkably bad. I hope nobody takes the author's advice. Seems like he mixed about 10% good information with about 90% fluff.

I love it! He must be practicing to be a candidate or elected official. Did say: "Failure to set the [fuel] switch correctly can result in starting problems that must be addressed by a dealer." Don't want to scare anyone, do we??? Could have said: Turn fuel off when not riding to avoid the dreaded hydrolock.

well, it's on the internet, so it's got to be true!! i like suggestions 6 & 7!! 6Tighten the bolt running from the engine to the horn-sounding mechanism to reduce rattling sounds in the engine. Use a wrench to fasten the bolt extremely securely, so no rattling is possible. 7Run the engine for five to 10 minutes and loosen the reflectors from either side of the engine using a screwdriver or putty knife. Tighten the fasteners on the back of the reflectors with an Allen key and push back into place.

Why yes, I can see his point… I find the Valk and my Pan Head so similar I frequently get on the wrong scooter when going for a ride…NOT! As Bugs Bunny would say, “What a maroon.”

People that don't know what V-Twin means, should not write motorcycle articles. People that do not know what boxter, inline, straight four, pan-head, shovel-head, knuckle-head, and EVO mean should also not write motorcycle related articles. They need a simple test in place to screen out such non-information.

Especially step 2:Pour in 6 3/4 pt. of kerosene and stir thoroughly without removing from the heat. Sounds like this guy just types what ever drifts into his head.

Just to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, I am going to guess that this article was written in a language other than English and then run through some cheep computer translation program. That is the only explanation because NOBODY can be that stupid.
