Fellow members,
Since February of 2007 the Denton County Southern Cruisers have been riding every morning to DFW Airport, rain or shine, to show our support for the Troops. We have become such a part of this event that if we miss one, Bert Brady and the other volunteers get worried. We have attend every dinner at Casitas supporting the troops and we have even escorted real hero home to Fort Worth. Because of our involvement I am asking that if you are not busy this Sunday that you ride with us to the DFW Airport to greet the troops and celebrate the 4th Year Anniversay. If you have never done this before you don't know what your missing.
This Sunday, June 15th, meet at the Sonic @ 380 E Round Grove Road at 6am and KSU is at 6:15am sharp.
We will be attending a special 4 Year Anniversay for the"Welcome Home A Hero" program. The theme this year is to honor our military members and the volunteers who support it, Yes, that means YOU! The agenda is as follows:
6:15 Ride as a group to Terminla D
7:00 Airport serves breakfast for volunteers.
8:00 Troops arrive from Kuwait.
9:00 Comments from 3 Star General Rochelle, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Jeff Fagan, CEO of DFW Airport.

Baron,
Where at the airport? Terminal D, but where should we meet you or where are the welcoming festivities? We'll find you if you don't get to this tonight.
Thanks

Gary, look for the sculptor/art and some double doors, like a main entrance.
Would anyone like to rendezvous at Central Exwy (75) and Beltline/Main in Richardson to head over to DFW in the am? If so, I am meeting LemonDrop at 6am at the McDonalds just south of the Chevron on the SW conrner of Beltline and Central Exwy. KSU 6:10am
Happy Father's Day everyone! ~Jeff

Here is a link to some pictures going to Terminal D. Follow signs that say "Terminal D/Arrival". As you go down the ramp at Terminal D, keep to the left pass the art work on the left and then pull into the parking garage. Park and walk across to the terminal. If I get there before you I will keep an eye out for you. http://scc195-r.driftershideout.com:8080/BrowseGallery.asp?Page=1&Gallery=RideGallery%5C20070722

We had a large turnout at DFW today so thanks to everybody who took the time on this Father's Day to Welcome Home the Troops. It was a very special moment for them to see so many of us cheer them on. My daughter caught the moment and so did our guest Karl from PA so check out the pictures by following the link below. http://scc195-r.driftershideout.com:8080/BrowseGallery.asp?Page=1&Gallery=RideGallery%5C20080615

Did you see us on the news this evening? Thanks so much, David, for the opportunity to tag along on the 4th Anniversary celebration of "Welcome Home A Hero". The experience is well worth the early hour any Sunday morn folks. 187 men and women set foot on US soil after a 22 hour flight this morning. Out of over one hundred pics, I believe this is my fav... Proud mom, eh! Here are a few more shots from this morning...Drop a hat and I am there! God Bless our troops. Happy Father's Day! ~Jeff
