One of my first assignments as an Army Lieutenant was to report to the contract-management attachment of the Boeing Company, maker of the Minuteman nuclear missile.   As I rode the elevator to meet my commander, it stopped, and a Boeing employee entered.  “Four please,” he said.  I mistakenly pushed the button for the third floor.   As I realized my error, the man from Doing commented, “We’re very happy to have you here, Lieutenant…… and not in a missile silo.”
