Snake Oil. Seafoam will adjust you valves for you, lubricate the wife, cause your tires to

reinflate.

Nothing can be all that and a pack of chips as well.

But if you like it go with it.

Big Al:

Stating that you are a Lucas fan is one thing.

Bad mouthing anything and everything that others may suggest is very poor manners and does a whole lot to tarnish your image.

I am just glad that God loves us all, even with our wrinkles and faults.

Mr Early,, who I respect in every way.

When a product proposes so many different claims, it is hard for me as one to believe.

Caviat Emptor.

I don't believe any product can do all they say this product says it can do.

When it is too good to be true, you know what they say.

No disrespect is intended.

+1 on the snake oil

I've not seen that stuff do anything at all.

except lower the amount of cash in my wallet. It surely is a mystery product. It won't work while you watch it only works in the darkness of the inside of an engine. I have soaked things in that crap for days, and the only thing that happened was it got it wet.

And yes I get flamed all the time for dissin the magical SeaFoam too.

Been using Seafoam for years and it works.
We have Fleet farm in Wis, last time I checked it was $6.50 a can.
I think Menards has it for the same price.

Jeez, you mean I been buyin Seafoam for the past 11 years to protect MGM, my tractors, mowers and etc, and it is not doin it's job.

Must be the gasahol I use then that is keeping it clear/clean.   I know I can tear a carb apart and it doesn't have any varnish in it,   MGM gets a can of it every fall, and I'm still running stock slow speed jets at 242K+ miles.    Carbs have only been off once and that was when one of my idle screws was stuck.      I'll bet Seafoam made it stick.    What do ya think?

Damn I'm glad I found that out now instead of later, will save me a bundle of $$$$$ a year, case of 24 can get expensive......   But then again I'll lose a shop write off expense, large one I might add.

On the other hand... I NEVER buy it and I have had the same results!  2funny

The only carbs I have to clean is for other people, and stuff I buy.
I just bought a tiller off of CL and had to pull the carb clean and reinstall. Cost me $7. So I guess I'm still ahead.  Grin

Ya, same here.  Two Valks...'97 & '00.  Never have had any carb issues.  1/2 can Seafoam in the summer and then 1/2 can before storage.  Also 10% ethanol 99% of the time.  Gee, I guess I been doing it all wrong all these years....Not!  Oh, and no petcock issues either.  Both run as smooth as the day they came home.  I'll just stick with what works, thank-you-very-much. Smiley

Lucas....hmmm, the power of advertising.  Now where have I seen that snake oil being advertised? coolsmiley  Oh, now I remember  Lips Sealed.  Advertising is so powerful a whole bunch of people thinks cheese is good.  Grin
And everyone knows cheese is nothing more than spoiled milk. crazy2
