A few pics from ride today for all of you that are homebound.  Out of the desert up into the mtns for about 100 miles.  75* here today . . . Not being  Evil, just sharing and maybe I can get the same when it is 115* in 5 -6 months.  Here I'm off towards mtns with snow capped peaks.  I head off right through the windmills and up in elevation on winding road.

Up to about 4000' for a late lunch and park outback of a favorite of mine.

Up to back door, but it is locked and I do not want to go in the "hippie" door.

Pappy and Harriet's, eclectic bands, good food and some history.   Eric Burdon from the Animals there in the past (if anyone remembers them).

Headed around to front door and in for some catfish and fries.

A little cooler up in the high desert on the way home (meaning comfortable in jacket with lining out and a short sleeve shirt).  Nice ride back through twisting high desert landscape.

Down to the desert floor with the sun going down, couldn't be better.

Head home with Mt. San Jacinto in the background,  10,834' with spectacular views.  Always seems strange to have it looming in the background, covered with snow with warm temps down in the desert.  Was going to head up that direction, but still a little chilly way up there.

Great day off and hope to get out again soon.

Nice post.  I remember riding in CA low desert West of Riverside, the bike would stay very clean, except dust.

You have a very clean machine!!

Starting Sun, we are getting a week of 45+, and I'll be out on my dirty roads.

Can't thank you enough for sharing the pics and the ride report. Great pics and a sharp Valk. Looks like a fun place to ride too. Still 2 or 3 inches of ice in my driveway so ridin' is still a ways ahead here.
