I see your point, you are a little taller than me. I know the ultimate big boy will set me an inch back from stock. and it looked to have a little more back support to it. I would like to set on one to be sure.

Shank, I am planning to head down to the Knoxville area the weekend of March 5-6. I will bring the bike with me if the weather isn't too unbearable. We could hook up somewhere, swap seats, and take a little spin if you want. I have a Bigboy.

I have the Ultimate Big Butt Boy seat and I'm 6' and 220 lbs, inseam 32". I think the Big Boy fits great for me. Another rider is 6'2 and tried the Big Boy but is going to the King because he says it feels better, has less of a ridge on back so you can scoot back further and is a little wider. I tried the King but it lets me slide too far back to be comfortable. I like the back support more with the Big Boy. If you have access to both, try them on a 100 mile or so ride. And if you get new ones, remember they need some break-in to get comfortable.
I also have Mustang seat set in the closet - they are too hard for me and didn't break in after 3000 miles.
Just my 2 cents.

Whichever you get, you will love it. I am an Ultimate fan. Any type of long ride, I may get sore in the shoulder, but never in the butt....

I'm only 5'10" and 230+ and have been using the King for over 3 yrs. Had the Big Boy before that, but during Bike Week one year Des let me take a King for a ride and that did it for me. Ordered it and never looked back. For me, its size is more comfy for long days in the saddle.

I have trouble with this seat.
Not enough room for the boys.
I will eventually get a Russell Day Long/.
THis is something I have struggled with for years.
Not enough room in the front part and makes things go to sleep that should not sleep.
Mustang has plenty of room for this and the Corbin may be hard but roomy up front.

I've heard before that the BigBoy crowds the boys so to speak.....but I thought the King had alot more room and it wasn't a problem with the King. Does the King crowd out the fellas too?

I have Showchrome pull back risers and Rattlebars peg relocate kit and Kickshifter. Took a while to find all the pieces n parts to make the bike fit me correctly, but is pretty much perfect now.

The KBB is perfect for me. LaMonster risers & Ultimate King fits just right. Same as me! I've had every model that Des makes for the Valk and the King was by far the best for me. Lay as many miles as I want on it and zero seat problems! I'd post a pic but it would be redundant.

I am 6'3@ 265 lbs and love my 5 pc. Bigboy set I just got. It's amazing with all the measurments and all the different opinions. I'm about the same size as John Schmidt and have a porportional arm reach. My seat actually set me farther up and now don't need riser bars as when I had my Mustang seat. And no, my boys are fine. . I even adjusted my backrest farther back with my legs stretched out on my pegs. Very comfortable!

I am 6'1" and 265lbs. I have the Ultimate Big Boy and have logged several 500+ miles a day with no discomfort. For you guys that say the seat crowds your boys are you bragging or is that a complaint (LOL). Ride Safe. Hef

I'm 6"1" 215 with not much natural padding if you know what I mean. I had the big boy and was not happy. I got the KBB and now I'm pleased. Because it is flatter, it lets you slide back and transfer some on your weight onto your thighs. I always felt short of space with the BB.

I like the Kingboy because it pushed me away from the tank and I didn't feel so cramped up on the bike. I actually think it helped me in slow, parking lot type maneuvering situations because I don't feel like I am too close to the bars. I would think the only downside may be if you like a backrest and have a passenger, it is going to cost her some real-estate. It does take a bit of room from the passenger but in my case I didn't mind, and neither did she.

At 6'2", 210, I don't have a lot of padding either (though I am getting bigger as years go by) and I tried Roger Hansen's big boy on for size and found it confining....that said, I liked the Idea of 1" up and two back, so I ordered the King Big Boy,,,according to the shipping documents it will be here on Tuesday the 22nd.....and I'm excited...
