I'm doing a talk about cornering next month, and I'd like to find a video of a motorcyclist coming around a corner, being surprised by something in the road, then correctly turning tighter or continuing his turn to aim for the correct path to avoid the obstacle.  I have found several videos of target fixation in a corner, but none where the rider did the right thing.

Truly weird how people do this.

Must be in their subconcious psychy.

Can not explain this at all.

I taught myself on a trail bike to never look at the obstacle a long time ago.

This has translated over into my street riding.

This guy was extremely lucky.

This was totally avoidable.

What's with the leg down as well.

There are no avoidance videos, only those that make impact make good copy.

AS for this fellow, if I were him, and was able the guy who ran over me would know

he had been in a fight.

Told my motocross friends and enemies, if you run over me on the track, in the pits you will

have to deal with me personally, AMazing I never got runover.

Once picked up a 125 cc Yamaha and threw it down the hill after the guy intentionally speared

me because he simply could not pass me and to beat all we were in a different class and

both of us were leading the respective class.

He gave me a dirty look in the pits , but that was all.

Wise man.
