"Honey, I did what you asked.  I tried my best to sell it but no one was interested.  I guess we'll just have to keep the Valk and sell your Miata."

As special as this bike is (or as special as the owner thinks it is) it'll be very very hard to get that price.
There is a local 01 std for sale for 7 thou that is absolutely the cleanest Valk I have ever seen. 25k miles, Mustang and stock seats, Cobra and stock exhaust (stock and triple tips) and in blue/white which is not too common.
If I could sell my 98 Tourer I'd jump on this std. in a heartbeat.
I always thought I kept mine pretty clean until I saw this one-never saw one this nice.
I wish the Bumble Bee seller good luck-maybe a high sales price would trickle down and help us all!

..but $1500 in aftermarket accessories? I see the tank bib, Baker air wings, chrome radiator cap and oil filler cap. A coupla hundred bucks worth of stuff. Other than that it looks pretty stock..grips, seat, wheels, exhaust, gauges...all stock. Even if he had cam and reservoir covers it wouldn't add up to anything near $1500. Am I missing something?

Looking at the house in the background - don't guess he is hurting for the money.

I kind of agree with Willow..."Well, Honey, I tried to sell it...nobody seemed interested."
