Planned Route to Mid-Winter Ride-in at Austin:
I’ve ridden everything from Sugar Land to Lagrange – good roads, nice scenery. I have not previously ridden the LaGrange to Lockhart route, but looks good via the map. Weather forecast to be good. However, if inclement weather blows in we’ll still plan on lunch at Blacks and go I-10 to 183 near Luling north to Lockhart.
Stops:
** Brookshire – I-10 & 359 @ Shell Station: meet-up with anyone not coming to our house (we’ll arrive about 10:00 – planned KSU @ 10:15)
** LaGrange – Gas Stop @ Shell @ Hwy 71 & 159 (#4 in list below) – gas stops at Lockhart not convenient from restaurant – recommend filling here if you need gas to make it to Austin
** Lunch @ Blacks BBQ in Lockhart (#9 in list below) – Oldest continuous operation and family owned BBQ in Texas (great food…) – probably arrive about 12:30 to 1:00
** Heart of Texas Motel in Austin – leave Blacks and head to Motel with NO stops (so, if you need gas to get to Austin, please fill up in LaGrange)
(the map didn't show up)

You mean the map didn't stop and ask directions?
