Hardwick NJ

« on: February 13, 2011, 02:33:54 PM »

Took my lovely Bride out for lunch today to the Carnegie deli in Bethlehem PA they are a branch of the one in NYC.
We split a Corned Beef and Pastrami on rye with a side of Potato Pancake with sour cream and apple sauce and garlic pickles.

Didn't have room for the NY cheese cake the pic does not show how big these slices are they were huge!!!!!!

Well worth the trip on a winter day.

Man that sandwich looks good. I used to be able to get good pastrami sandwiches
at will in Greenville, SC, before Vince Perone's closed... A Beggin' Strips sandwich
is probably better than a pastrami sandwich made from grocery store pastrami...
