London Ontario Canada

« on: February 13, 2011, 04:45:23 PM »

Hi All Just got in from a 3 day bike show in my hometown of London Ont.It's been going for 7 years in our Western Fair Grounds. For a smaller town of 330,00 people,it's a great time.I have had a VRCC display all 7 years and still enjoy it. This year was one of the best.I am still surprised at Valk owners that do not know of our club but I am trying hard to fix that. Met up with alot of VRCC members.Met new and future ones and ones that have left our flock.Sold some crests and bought some parts.First year that I did not win a class but in my heart ,I know that I own the best.
Some pics of the show
Setting up My Jacob and great friend KC

Display with my Sue

I needed help with my display because of my work,so my eldest son,Adrian Jr took over. He did great

Across from our display was group of vets.On Friday night,a local legion brought in some very old vets, mostly in wheel chairs to see the show. They did a group photo with the younger vets. Was a touching moment. A few came over and talked bikes. Still a sparkle in their eyes.

A possible Canadian winter Valk tyre?

Some other rides

All in all a great time. Happy Trails Adrian(Chrome)V

Sure wish I could have been there.
The Cycle World IMS was here in Michigan a month ago, and we worked the ABATE booth. That show sucked worse than ever.

Today we worked the ABATE booth at a swapmeet at the same venue a month later, and it was far more interesting.

Happy trails, stay warm and may we meet at PD13.
