Noticed fuel leaking from the petcock housing. The bike runs fine and does not exhibit the symptoms you here about so often with a failing petcock and diaphragm. I can't see in there well enough to tell if the fuel is leaking from somewhere else and running down the petcock housing so i guess i'll be removing the tank Wednesday. Figures, perfect riding weather this week. Anyone else have this problem?

This one leaked... gas drizzled out of the weep hole on the petcock...

The previous owner "fixed" it like this:

Having effectively clogged up the weep hole, gas filled the petcock body and
ran down the vacuum hose to fill up cylinder #6. The bike spewed raw gas from
the exhaust when started, I'm glad we fixed it before my buddy Gary ended up with
hydrolock...

tighten the petcock nut to tank connection. it might only need a 1/8 to 1/4 turn.
