I'm new here so not many people know me...
But I just thought I would throw this out there again... now that the dates are a little closer and the weather is a bit more reasonable...
For probably about the 30th time, I will be riding west from San Marcos to the Big Bend region beginning March 11th until about the 16th or 17th. This time there appears to be a few Goldwingers planning on showing up in Alpine on Saturday the 12th for several days of riding. Personally, I will be leaving from Seguin (I work there) riding the Valk on Friday the 11th at about 3:30 PM. I will be dipping south of San Antonio and lodging at the LaQuinta Inn in Del Rio for the night. I will be rising early and scatting out west on US 90 headed toward Sanderson, Marathon and Alpine the following morning... the ride is spectacular...
Join us... for all or part of our west Texas ride...
We are planning on running the river road, visiting Stillwell Ranch, posing for a picture in Van Horn for the "I been everywhere" video... hanging out... doing the Davis Mountain loop... riding Wild Rose pass... seeing the Prada installation north of Valentine... etc... etc... etc...
