Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Broussard, Louisiana

« on: February 15, 2011, 07:39:27 AM »

Man, I was a week off on when the gig was over in Austin.  I thought it was last weekend (which was my grandson's birthday) but it is this weekend. Thank goodness that Sister QOTFU sent me the route they were taking Sunday by email.  I was thinking, "Why would she send me this today - the ride was two days ago?"  Then I realized that my little pea brain had gotten confused on the dates - and my pea brain gets easily confused.

So, I walked in and gave Red the old, eyes downcast and feet shuffling..."Babe, would you mind if I rode over to Texas and went to a Mid Winter Gathering and Wild Game Feast?  I want go if you need me here."  "GO!" she says, so go I must.... Grin

Got my room and heading out Friday to groove with some extended family over in Tejas!  Yippe-Ki-Yay!

You know we were walking the critters the other day and walked past a guy who lives up the road with a bike and Red asked me, "Why don't you ride with him?  I wish you had folks you liked riding with around..."  I told her, "Well, I just don't like that guy and I do have people I like riding with - just most of them don't live anywhere around here - I have to ride to other states to be with them!"  cooldude

So, if ya want to dig on some good people, good riding and awesome wild game feast, throw your leg over a saddle and come on over....

HEY STRIDER !!  Hope to see you on Friday, our flight gets into Austin at 5:40pm.

I wish you had folks you liked riding with around..."  I told her, "Well, I just don't like that guy and I do have people I like riding with - just most of them don't live anywhere around here - I have to ride to other states to be with them!"

SO !!!  When can we expect you back in Minnesota ?

Looks like BZAR from up here may have gotten all of his problems covered and will be down Thursday sometime.   T.P.   Grin

Hahahaha!  Bad luck...at least if I break down every 10 miles, it won't be so hot sitting on the side of the road... 2funny

Sounds good.  Let me give you a shout...not sure of how I am going yet.

I would ride with you anywhere, anytime.  You are a true rider sitting in the heat like you did while I waited for people with jumper cables and sometimes, I had barely shifted when it would die again.  MAN, was it ever HOT that day!  And you wouldn't leave me even when I kept asking you to....Love sharing the wind with you.

Bumpin' back to the top.  Man, since I should be meeting up with FB for part of the trip over, I had to put a cleaning to Traveler - so he is not embarrassed to be riding with a southern lady....Man, can't have that beautiful Spyder riding with a filthy Valkyrie.

Weather should be AWESOME this weekend.  Not that it really matters....sat out many a rainstorm with friends before and this is one fine extended family that is going to be there...so, hey, throw your leg over a saddle and come on over....The feast is awesome!!!!  So will be the company and the roads...See ya there!

(Traveler - a happy, partially clean machine for the ride!  Whoooo-Hoooo 3 more days till blast off!)
