Yeah.  It looks good.  However, I am concerned about the 20% chance of rain.  I seem to be a multiplier for such percentages.  Evil

But I think I'd be up for it.  No big jobs to coordinate this weekend.

Ride to Muenster, have lunch then head down 373/922 to 51 and take that south into Weatherford.  Or keep going to Bowie, head south to Jacksboro and take Hwy 4 all the way to I-20 then east to Weatherford.  Depends, of course, on how long those guys are open as to these ideas.

we tested the route today, the Chevron at 380 has closed, meetup at the 7-11/shell on the southeast corner of 380 and 75, small amount of construction on 455 before forestburg but don't think it will create any problems

Ride will be going through Celina square about 9:25,  Pilot Point Fina on 455 about 9:40, Sanger Chevron on 455 at 35 about 10, just in case anyone wants to meet up along the way.

Found out two Valk riders who have not come to a meeting before are going to ride with us.

That's great!

And, it's also a great opportunity to have a pre-ride meeting to discuss staggered formation, time/distance between bikes, and hand signals.

You might also put them in the back, just in front of the tailgunner so they can watch the group and learn from those who do it properly and be "monitored" by the tailgunner.

It would help if the tailgunner was actually armed.....   uglystupid2

Thanks to Hugh for leading the ride from McKinney to Muenster. Good route along 455 with enough twisties to make it fun.  7 bikes at the restaurant (Yoda Master joined us late) and no John from Tyler!  What happened, John?

From Muenster the group broke into different directions.  TJ and I rode to Bowie, then Jacksboro to hit Hwy 4 down to I-20.  Both of us headed east to 281 where Mr. Dublin headed south and I headed east, stomping 4 Harleys along the way on the black Tourer, which seems to be all better now.

341 miles for the day for me, from driveway to driveway.  Not much for you iron butts, but a nice day of riding for me.

Another great day for riding in Texas!

270 miles for me.  JC and I headed for OK after lunch, rode east to 377,  and parted ways on 380.  What a great day for riding....
