Got a AAA thing in the mail last week. Package deal seems good but it does not mention bikes. Do you know if it will are is that a separate thing? I usually pay $50 for the bike through the GWRRA for a year but Kit might be getting a bike this spring and would be better $$ in my pocket.

Motorcycles are listed under their RV section. I pay 139 a year for the coverage and use the H@LL out of it. Have not had them do a road service on me yet but am sure there will be one day....

If your talking road service, join AMA with auto renewal and road service is included in your membership for like $38 a year and the coversge is better than AAA AND it includes all vehicles you own, not just motorcycles.

In Ontario I have CAA, $110/yr, covers my van and my bike. I needed help on the road three times last year.
Paid for itself nicely, considering what the road vultures (other towing companies) charge.

If you get a death or disability solicitation from them, Motorcycle accidents are not eligible. I was a AAA member for me and my wife for twenty years and told them to stuff it. I am also an AMA member and they will give road service for your bike and anything else you drive, if you get automatic renewal on your checking account. 35 bux a year. Hoser

We have AAA, my son has used it like 4 or 5 times. With all of the back and forth to Sturgis, it is only a matter of time before you will need it, and it will pay for it self that first time. T.P.

Does the AMA cover enclosed trailers as well with the autos and motorcycles? If so that would be great for me. How is the real time service when trouble happens? I travel alot when I work, actually leaving for California (from Ohio) on Friday. I was going to re-up with AAA but if AMA is better and cheaper I will change. I am taking my bike with me and I'd like to feel like somebody is out there that will handle a problem if it happens in a reasonable time. AAA has always done that in my experience.

I have Progressive Insurance on all my plated M/Cs, and they have towing, gas and chargeing service as part of their policies.
Of course we also have AAA Gold Card travel card, and I'm also an AMA member, so I have all the bases covered.

Cali - AAA = $135 year for the "Plus" program ($89 me + $46 wifeunit). MC not covered. From what I understand the "RV" plan includes scoots. I don't' know what that plan costs. My road service coverage is through Progressive at something like $20 bucks per year. Used it twice; 1. local 2. a long haul ... very good service. AAA will get ya 10% off at motels. Yrmv,

I have the AMA road service. Had a flat tire on the bike in Alaska between Homer and Soldontna. Talked to a guy in Colombus, Ohio. In 45 minutes he had found me a tire, a shop to install it and a wrecker was on the way. Took me to Kenai to Ron's Honda for the install. No cost out of my pocket for the wrecker.
