Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Broussard, Louisiana

« on: February 16, 2011, 08:22:59 PM »

Leaving out bright and early Friday morning to head over to Early Bird's Mid Winter Ride In and Wild Game Feast over near Austin, Texas.  Man, I'll be meeting up with extended family on the way and riding in with them and seeing extended family when I get there.  Weather is suppose to be awesome - REALLY AWESOME!  Food is going to be great, ride is always cool over there and the fellowship - second to none.  Whoooo-Hoooo!

Man, I have been needing a road trip and now the riding season for 2011 begins!

I have been rubbing and cleaning on Traveller for two days now (like Smokin'Joe says, Nothin' details up like a Valkyrie) and she is prancing and ready to rock and roll.....To head into the wind again and allow this old outlaw to share an adventure with him again!

We have enjoyed a lot of sweet miles together and now the adventure begins again for 2011....

He's had his first bath of the year and is as antcy to get into the wind as I am.....

I had a burnt driving light, so changed both of my driving lights out with new $16 specials from Wallyworld - should make the season now....

The iPod is loaded with 5517 tunes, Traveller is clean and I am READY FOR A ROAD TRIP!!!!  Well, only have another 1938 minutes left to wait until Friday morning now....Whooooo-Hoooooooooo BABY!!!!

THEN IT'S BLAST OFF TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I hear the road calling me......

For everyone going - safe winds and see you there!!!!!!

Oh, and yes, we will have to pass through La Grange on the way there....WHOOO-HOOOOOOOO!

I getting a head start on you.  I will be leaving the hacienda in about an hour to meet up with Wizard for breakfast and then around 10:00 meeting Santa Chuck.  We are riding over a day early to make sure all is in readiness.  Going to pre-ride the route tomorrow to get a good heads up on conditions and then to make sure the welcome mat is out.

Wooo hooooo, can't wait either.  I am leaving early.
