I just looked, 5L at Canadian Tire, $5. I like the nicer fit, but hell, why do people think just because it's for a bike we should pay 6x the price for it.

Didn't check the price before I commented.  But, I shoulda known it'd be crazy money since they did make reference to HD in the ad.

boy howdy, it tucks right in the back of a valk saddlebag and takes up no space. i use the gas ever 2-3 months and refill. no fumes no mess. i've run dry before. it's a nice insurance policy. no fumes even sitting in black saddlebag in 90 degree plus sun of south fla.

That is the big thing to me...  The only can I've ever seen that does not give off fumes, is my dome shaped steel can I use for the mower.  The plastic ones I've seen blow up like a baloon, if not vented, when the temps rise.

Sounds worth it to me  cooldude

Because it is made for HD.  I used to carry two 1.5 liter Primus fuel bottles before the belly tank.  http://www.backcountrygear.com/catalog/accessdetail.cfm/PRM2540

Those where my first choose for extra fuel, ridged bottles. They use to be cheap too for camping stoves. For what they want, the price wasn't bad. But at $20 for 33 oz (.9L), you would be better off on those small jerry cans instead.

At $20.00 for a 30oz, the MSR bottles are a VERY expensive option. You'd need 4 of the MSR bottles ($80) to nearly equal the capacity of one Reda. The Reda holds a gallon (128oz) and is still expensive at $20.00. But I agree that the shape and the no fume features are very nice.

All the best,

Mark

I bought two Reda's.  Have not filled them yet.  They do fit in Champion bags.
