Sat'dy Ride - Bama Style

Hey Y'all,

Well, the weather over much of the southland looks to be rather nice this coming weekend - perfect for takin' the cure for PMS. A couple of rides caught my eye, and I thought seriously of showing up for one of 'em. First, the West Virginia ride with SmokinJoe and the Wild Bunch had some appeal, then the Wild Game Ride with Early Bird and the Texas crew showed much desirability. Alas, both would have involved several nights on the road for me, and I ain't sure I'm up for that just yet... Still tryin' to heal-up and hair-over from my infirmity a few weeks back...

Not wanting to step on anybody else's ride, I've decided to go ahead on and announce my big plan for Sat'dy anyhow... Lunch at Fat Man's BBQ in Pell City. Never been there before myself, but I'm told it's on US 231 (probably right around or at the I-20 Exit) - I've further been told that it is gooooood stuff, too. I'll be there with the Napper around 11:30-ish, if'n anybody would like to join in... this could mature into an overnighter should the mood strike in case anybody might be interested in that too.

Whooooooooo-Hooooooooo!  Sounds like a large time to be passed....Well, there ya go then.  There are now 3 - yes, count them THREE - destinations you can throw a leg over a saddle and head towards.  Ya gotta love the springtime!!!!!

Weather should be B-E-A-UTIFUL this weekend!!!!!!!

Us Florida boys are trying to get something together for Monday (President's Day) in the central part of the state.  Details are still coming together, but any and all are welcome to join in the fun.  As of right now, looks like it'll be mid-to-high 70s with a 10% chance of rain.

I hope you guys get in some good ride time.  I am swamped at work so I can't make the ride with SmokinJoe cause they are leaving on Friday morning.  I went back to my doctors this morning still being nagged by a sinus infection.  Got a shot and some high power antibotics so I should be good to go Saturday or Sunday; hopefully both days!

I wish I could make it down for the BarBQ but I have to work on the house this week end. Lived in Pell City for awhile back in 2006-2007 nice city. See you at Cheaha if not before.
