I'm having the tank, bags, fenders and side covers painted on the burgandy/cream ct.  To any one that has done this, should I try and track down new tank emblems and bag "Tourer" strips?  Or will I be able to re-use the originals?

Thanks;
Bill

You can re-use them.a little monofilament and some wd-40 will get them off easily.and some fresh 3m double stick will put em back on.

Another option would be to find a company that does "vinyl wrapping".
Designing custom graphics and instalation should run around $500-600 bucks.
And you won't see another like yours at a rally or any big gathering.

I played with some vinyl wrapping a while back - pretty cool, but VERY difficult - you can screw up some pretty expensive vinyl REALLY fast. Below is a video - count the number of hands - that's the MINIMUM you need, trust me...  Roll Eyes

I wouldn't wrap it myself.
The prices I got was to design and install.
After all they are the experts.
