It's a great feeling to donate. A few years ago, my hair was down almost to the top of my butt. After 22 years of having long hair, I decided to cut it. My wife, Lisa came up with the idea to donate the pony tail to Locks Of Love. I ended up shaving my head and, honestly, I like this look even more.(Some opinions may vary
). A few weeks later we get a letter thanking us for the donation. Included was a pic of the little girl who adopted the tail. I took one look and shouted at Lisa, "This really tickes me off!!!! She looks better with it than I did!!!!!!"
But it brought a tear to my eye. She did look gorgeous. I would encourage anyone to do it.
