I'm thinking of taking my interstate to bike week from houston this year. just wondering if anyone here with a magnacharger has had any problems on a longer ride and any advice on anything I should take along. also as I  now ride mainly around houston, does the milage with the charger improve on a long continuous drive? Thanks.

The blower bikes I’m familiar with had two problems.  The main one was blowing the diaphragm on the Harley CV carb, and the second was a leaking front seal in the input shaft.  Both would be difficult to fix on the road.  These were early Magnachargers, so I don’t know if this applies to the newer ones.  Gas mileage was low no matter how far they went!

I have over a 100,000 miles on my blower, pretty much all highway miles, and haven't had any problems other than a loose belt now and then...and nope, the gas milage is about the same...at 100 miles doing 85mph I hit reserve.

You can only go half way into the darkest forest before you are coming out the other side, unless of course, you have been walking in circles...

I take mine all over the country. No problems with the supercharger. I carry a spare belt but I've never had to use it. Over 100,000 miles.
When I had a carb I would get about 25mpg cursing the hwy.

my fuel mileage blows but, that just because...I get 125 on a full tank if Im out of the throttle. but then again, mine aint a regular valk either. Ive done trips of 100 miles with no issues. get gas ride home.never had an issue.
