Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Thursday it was 57 deg and most of the snow was gone. Hurried home after work and donned the leather and a sock cap. It was nice. Started right up. Headed into town and stopped at the gun store to get Kit's revolver out. Filled the tank and headed home. Best 15 miles since late October.

Shot about 50 rounds threw her new revolver and I my .380. You should see the pasture. We turned alot of sod upside down and had chunks flying in the air! She had a blast. She cant wait to carry it. We went in today and put money down on another Bersa for me. 40 cal compact. Cant wait till next month to shoot it! Good news is that it fits in my Bianchi holster I have for my .380. So no need to spend $55 on another one.

Went out and shot up some .500 magnum loads today too.  Man, everytime you squeeze that trigger its an adrenalin rush.  My son-in-law ( guess thats what he is)  My wifes son.......always balked at the S&W 500.  Well today I dared him to shoot one round.  He agreed, said Ill shoot it once...JUST ONCE. I guess its like  a Lays potato chip.  After the first one he said "WHOA!  I gotta do that again"......he shot 2 more and was done.  I remember my first cylinder full.....3 is all you want to do.  And now, It doesnt even make sense to say it, because after you get used to it.........a box goes by too quickly LOL    We had a blast LITERALLY

I think that would be "step-son".  A Son-In-Law would be your daughters husband.

I can't imagine shooting that .500 too often.....  not just for the cost of the ammo either....   Wink
