Hail to the king baby!

177 great miles today. Couple of pictures, one proves there are curvy roads up here. Even if I have to travel 40 miles to get there. Other, just a pic of my bike getting ready to hit those curves.

I rode from Amarillo to Channing, headed to Sanford and ended up in Borger.  Met some friends that just happended to be visiting from Tulsa. Great visit.  Ate a smothered chicken fried steak.  Consists of Texas Toast with 6 oz of chicken fried steak. Pile some fat fries on that. Then, cover that in Cream gravy.  Too dark to take good pic inside, sorry!
On way home, saw 2 bikes stopped beside the road. I pulled over to see if they needed help. One lady was dizzy, then her brother-in-law asks if she ate. She said yes. He asked when?  She said yesterday!  So b-i-l looks at me and I nod, he takes off to fetch some food. I visited with his wife and her sister until he got back. Meet some nice folks. They got some snack food down her and were ready to leave in just a few minutes. We shook hands and parted. Think I have some new friends.

Like I said, great day to ride.

Good service you are doing buddy! This was my first time riding the north lake road. I have been all over in that area for work, but not that road. Ever been?
