Don't ya'll just HATE it when the ez-out breaks off inside of the stripped out piece you were trying to ez-out???

Oh well... Front brake calipers are relatively cheap on eBay... Of course, I had to do this just as the weather turns nice!

I still have the tip of the broken-off bolt with the broken-off drill bit sticking out of it with the punch permanently embedded in it just to remind me to use break-free, heat and patience with tough bolts.

Learning patience is turning out to be a very expensive lesson for me...

The bolt on the replacement caliper was hopelessly seized up too... Replacement to the replacement just ordered, this time gonna take it REALLLLLLY slowly and carefully... *sigh*

I've broken loose a couple that were "hopelessly" seized on old GL1000 calipers. Yeah, I have a couple with broken ez outs in them too. Sometimes that steel to aluminum joint corrodes pretty solid. Patience is the key, PB Blaster & ATF-Acetone mix, with many heat and rapid cooling cycles. I have a little pin-point torch and the then use a PC duster can upside down to heat/freeze the part. Sometimes it takes a couple days to finally to finally break loose. Tapping with a small hammer when you're wrenching it can help too.
