Saw and heard my first flight of sandhill cranes heading north. A sure sign winter is coming to a close.

I hope you're right... it's snowing right now... getting sick of not being able to ride! I haven't been to any of my favorite coffee shops, resturants, or ice cream parlors yet this year!

BS!  Angry As I look out my window I see a heavy snow, drifting across the highway, alot of sleet/ ice under the snow, and its a warm 28 deg. Saw a sign at lunch that said 27 more days till spring. We usually get a huge snow in March anyway. I did see a few dozen robins 2 weeks ago. I also shot 2 starlings so far this week so maybe spring is near.  ???

That is AWESOME cooldude  Between the robins that Fudgie saw and the Sandhills that you saw, we should be in GREAT shape SOON!  However...I just snowblowed 8 inches of snow off my driveway and gonna get 5 more on Thursday!  Won't be too soon for me!! Smiley

i'm hoping for another full month of winter.  (there's a reason) my universal joint hasn't come in yet and if i had a cycle put together, waiting for the snow to disapear, i'd be going crazy!!  BTW, we got 10 inches of heavy wet snow over the last two days, still snowing now...... tickedoff
