Well my Breakaway CC finally just came in from DLP. Before the UPS guy showed up, I found from the Cruiser Customizing website that I will need a Cam riser kit to work with my Kury chrome levers. DLP should have suggested the same if there's any truth to it I called DL and the guy said about 70% of the people don't need the cam riser kit, which didn't make sense unless Kury is just trying to line their pockets! I told him I hope I'm in the 70%. Has anyone had any experience with this combo? Thanks in advance for any help.

Xguy. I have Kury levers and a brake away and didn't need anything extra. I did need to fuss with the alignment to get it to work off the lever.

Thanks rrmdeuce that's very encouraging! Do you have the Kury 7429 chrome levers? Yeah the instructions look complicated and have heard from several it was a beach to align and get it right! The old boy at DL might have been right after all and I'll fall into that 70%. Again thanks again and I'll get started tonight.

I had both on my Standard and the brake-away feature (lock releases when you hit the front brake) no longer worked. I adjusted things as far as I could and got it to work again, but it wasn't nearly as smooth of a release as before. I haven't bothered to install the lock my Interstate yet and now have an Audiovox CC to install, so I'll probably just sell it. They look fantastic and work great when set up correctly, you'll like it.

I have a Brakeaway and wide lever Kurys. I was able to get the brakeaway to work without the riser but it was a little sloppy. I called Brakeaway and they sent the parts needed to make it right free of charge. Free is best and using the riser is best as well.

I didn't need anything extra. There was enough adjustment in the system to compensate for the wider levers, in my case. Or I modified it a little, I don't recall. I do that sort of thing without thinking about it much, with all the tools I have in the metal shop - I tend to expedite an install myself with what I have on hand, rather than get some outside support. Maybe I'm not being much help here...

Flat6 you were lucky because I emailed them and they said I needed it and gave me the P/N. Yes you can't beat free! I'm going to put them on today and make them work! I haven't even looked a my BRA and my levers good yet. I think I will take the Kury lever off, lay my OEM on top of it. mark and cut it the same as the OEM where in engages the cruise.
