So it seems I will have to do the rejet on my bike, cause i LOVE the sound of the Cobra's.

I do not have too much mechanical experience, but I am quite willing to learn and to take it slow.

Is there a nice guide out there, that will take someone through this step by step - nice pictures will help as well, as I do not know all the part-names - LOL!

re-jet is the wrong terminology. u do not need to change any jets. what u will be changing and what their kit is,  are new needles. easy to do, check shop talk.
if u want to save some $$, u can try shiming the oem needles with washers from radio shack and install a set of the I/S springs.

shameless plug I have a set of the dyna jet/cobra needles for sale. PM me.

heinno i responded to your post yesterday: "cobra-fuel mixture"... this set-up works for me in that i can run the cobra pipes with or with-out the baffles and not worry about the lean issue. cooldude

yes, thanks, I know, I am planning to follow your advice.....but I am not looking for information on what to do, I am looking for information on "how to do it" - like take of the tank, remove airbox, be carefull not to misplace this spring etc...
