Took off this morning for the Carolina mountains by way of Deals Gap and The Dragon . Made ( 2 )  cop free passes then the law showed up and messed up my play time Angry

Do it ( The Dragon ) during the week if possible and early morning or late evening that way you can drag some hard parts without any worries  of cops cooldude

Well someone has to say this.

You a__hole, you make work more miserable for us working stiffs.

On the other hand, I'm glad you had a good day.

If the TN cops ever get one, you better go find another playground.

Blount County has both Harley and ST 1300 and I've seen them both on The Dragon but most of the time they come in a car so they can run the heater or a/c and take a nappie when needed  Roll Eyes

Yep, the roads we're going to be riding tomorrow will have lots of different people on them. When I hit them
during the middle of the week, it is like have my own private Idaho. I think the next SC group ride should
be up 215 to the BRP and then back down into South Carolina on 107... those roads will probably be
less crowded on a nice Saturday than 178 and 276. (maybe  crazy2)

I thought about makin' a run to join y'all but we are under a tornado warning till 8:00 tonight ( friday )and I would need a over-night motel stay to get there. I saw 3fanforlife ( Fred  ) post about covered bridges and we have 2 that are within a 150 mile ride  so we are ridin' to check them out tomorrow.

Yeah, the weather's bad here today too, but should be good tomorrow.

If you've never been on 276 and or 178, we'll have to meet up one day when everyone else is
at work, you'd like those roads when there's no traffic clogging them up. Perhaps we'll get lucky
tomorrow. Last weekend we got stuck behind a stretch-limo on the way back down from Caesar's Head.

There's some covered bridges in South Carolina, but most of them are rebuilt or new... the "real" ones
didn't survive vandalism and dis-repair over time.

Campbell's Covered bridge is the only remaining historic one...

See you at Cheaha...
