Screw it, I'm not in the mood for this kind of criticism today.

Thanks anyway Bobbo, I hope I spelled it right this time, don't want to get accused of being a grade school person like the last time.

I know it was numbers, it is just like statistics, an accountant came come up with any # you so desire to achieve what you want to purchase or fool your listeners.

When I was working, I used stats to get what equipment I needed for my staff.  One legislator told me at my retirement party, he hated to see me come before them asking for $$$$$$.

Another "fun with numbers" propaganda piece!  Let me guess...  Chain email?   Cheesy

I can play the game too.  The building I work in cost $25 million to build.  It has $10 million in equipment and supplies.  There are about 150 employees here.  If this building were wiped out by a natural disaster, and we requested $35 million in relief,  that would mean $233,333.33 for each one of us!  Whoo-Hoo we're rich!  Uhhhh...  No...

This message fails to address the buildings, equipment, evacuation, and a host of other expenses.  It can't be divided by people or houses to get any meaningful data.

I have no idea whether $250 billion is a proper number, but I'm sure it's like any other government thing; Ask for a lot more than you need, because you will get a lot less than you ask for.

If you don't want your posts "criticized" or discussed, why do you post them?

When I joined the VRCC as a charter member, we were all friends.  Some have left this forum as newer members joined and started posting inflammatory political and religious propaganda, coupled with some bigotry.  I decided to stay.  This board allows us to express our opinions on the subjects posted, and I respond with my opinion and supporting links when necessary.  If you think that is showing your a$$, then you can have that opinion.

As a newer member I'm torn between praying for Bobbo, and praying that his wife would catch him buying
more chrome, but that's just because I'm imperfect.

Adrian, He is member # 364, so he is a Charter member.    LOL.

I'm not even a Charter Member and I'm # 173.

Charter members were the 1st 25, I think PIBIT is about the last of the Charters.

Charter members are the ones who join shortly after a club is started.  The first 100 or so were already set up before others could join.   I joined two or three days after it went public.

Why the rampant Bobbo beating?  I didnt see anything wrong with his post.  It wasnt like he called names or anything.

You gents are a hoot... panties in a serious wad over posts by Bobbo.  Nothing better to do?  Did he give you an electronic wedgie?  RJ, you need to grow some thicker skin... you make a post, then remove it and whine because you don't like what someone had to say about it.  What is that about?  I'd come to the defense of Bobbo... but what for?... he seems to be doing just fine.
