Work sucks _Let's ride

West Virgina

« on: February 24, 2011, 01:18:29 PM »

Just got confirmation that a community group will host a country feed for us along the way on our Saturday ride .The route Highbinder spoke to me about let me know where we will be around lunch time . There are not any resturants in the area that can handle the 100 or so riders at 1 time .So I'm setting up a buffet style lunch at a nice park, that will be available for a modest cost...less than $ 10.00 drinks included . With the funds going to a Girl Scout group from Williamsburg W.Va..  I have been to some functions put on by this group before and they have had a good variety of food to choose from and it's always good.

A "win-win" pretty much any way you look at. We get a lunch; without over-taxing a restaurant... a girl scout troop raises some funds  cooldude

Tell them to bring some left over cookies (a thin-mint fan myself) if they got'em... those would probably be popular as well!

Great think'in and thanks!
