We are excited about Trevor winning the Daytona race, He and his sister go to our church here in Knoxville, But I was wondering and figure some of you knoxw the answer, Did Trevor get that 1.5 mil, or do the Wood Bros. get it? Just wondering?
Also, I finally got tired of trying to fix my IS radio (I still believe it is the controls) so I put a J&M system on her and really am enjoying it.

I too had trouble with my radio. Solution was a small can of spray contact cleaner from Radio Shack. I just sprayed in the switch areas around all the controls (6 of them) and moved the switches back and forth. All came back and much cheaper than I expected. Almost so simple, I didn't believe that it would work when someone suggested it to me. I really wanted to tear into the switch housing and clean it up, but the spray worked fine.

I don't know, but I'd assume Woods Bros got it and then he got a % for being an employee who won the race.
Somewhere, some time ago, I heard the driver got a % based on where he finished. I think I heard that from Tiny Lund, a Nascar driver that was from Iowa.
I figure there is someone wout there who knows for sure.
How about it Bobbo, do you know?

I think the drivers are paid a contract amount agreed on by both parties, the higher they place the more they get, but I'm not sure. Hoser

Drivers salary are negotiated individually with the addition of a % of the purse which, in some cases, will fluctuate with the finishing position of the team. This is incentive money that may translate through the crew chief, car chief, e.t.c. Endorsements are a whole other ball game! They're gonna go round in circles in my town this weekend!(gonna rain, tho)

Hey Carl, That was pretty cool having a local boy win and I hope he gets paid very well. He seems to be a very nice young man and a great driver. He drove up front all day without a scratch to that Woods brother's car.

I'm sure he got a pretty good paycheck. It was reported on Monday that he had made a significant donation to a charity which he is involved in helping. So far I'm impressed with the young man.
