I just read TomT's "Pass the biscuits" and it was a great reminder. I had an elderly friend named Jim who's wife had a severe stroke and had to go to a nursing home. The stroke affected her mind to the point she did not even recoginize Jim, yet He went there every day to feed her. One day I went with Jim to the nursing home and overheard one of the nurses say to him, "Why do you come here every day when she doesn't even know who you are?" Jim smiled at the nurse and said, "No she doesn't, but I know who she is." He continued to go there every day for over seven years. That was over 30 years ago and I have never forgotten it. That is true love.
