 Cheesy Cheesy uglystupid2 uglystupid2

Went up in the mtns from the desert today for breakfast.  A ride i make frequently.  Today was no different from the rest except we just had a "cold front" go through with a little rain over the weekend so only 68* here today.

But very strange, when I got up in elevation, the normally pristine curves through the mtns had sand on the center line and in the middle of the lanes so I slowed down and rode with caution.   ??? ???

I got to the cafe and there was all this white stuff around??  Shocked Shocked

Got off bike and it was VERY  slippery.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

it was that way all around, so I figured after breakfast I had better head back down and get away from this strange, slippery white stuff.  Have any of you ever seen such a thing before?   uglystupid2 uglystupid2 2funny 2funny

Looks like crystalized H2O to me. It comes at us in waves every year around Christmas. They say it's caused by global warming but I have my doubts. We use it to cover up the brown in the lawns. It usually evaporates on it's own around the end of March. Be carefull when you touch it though, it will turn your hands blue.
