Well that's great & it sucks.... all at once!

Rode down 301 through good old Croom a Coochee Sunday & thought about you.
They are re-paving 301 south of you. Badly needed I must say!
North of Wildwood 301 is still a mess but the part south of 42 is done & sweet!!

Shout when you get settled in... the next two weekends we will be over at Bike Week or hangin' out at the river condo in Astor.

   WOW!    Haven't heard of Croom A Coochee in many moons. I used to go hunting there as a kid and lived in Bushnell when they only had one blinking traffic light.  Used to fish down the road at Lake Panasoffkee.

Yup. You could’ve thrown a stone and hit our place! The ‘Croom’ is a rough area these days. . .  but we see wild boar every year around that area, so I’m thinking its still pretty good hunting. Sadly, Bushnell has been discovered by the Yankees. Yeah I know. I’m a Yankee too, but the lands been in the family since the 70’s (for whatever that’s worth!) Every year there seems to be yet another new retirement park, RV center, or fast food place in Bushnell.  It stinks! The Walmart really did the area in and spelled its doom. We use to see almost ZERO traffic on that stretch of 301. On Sunday mornings you could lay down and take a nap on the road and only get bothered by those big, weird buzzards you see everywhere in central Florida. Webster is still hanging onto its old Florida roots, but it’s just a matter of time I suppose.

BTW - That stretch of 301 would be considered a smooth road in Michigan, but by Florida standards it needed to be repaved! 

Having no bike really stinks . . . . but 'it is what it is'. Next year I’ll try and bring it down early again or maybe just get another enclosed trailer. Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing some of the Florida crew. I hope it works out. Too bad that giant pancake place closed over in Floral City (Jennets?)
