Nothing like having a zero feedback buyer running up the bid and running off the buyers with track records! Good luck with getting him to pay. It could work out but I'd be blocking or having zero feedback bidders vetted with me, in advance, before bidding.

I've never understood the bidders that had just registered yesterday with zero feedback bidding the heck out of something.....usually with zero intention to pay. 

Why do they do that?  Is if for fun to screw up somebody's auction....or is there some sort of potential scam involved?

You see this all the time in motorcycle and auto auctions.

Sometimes it competing sellers - they run up your bid and then don't pay to keep people from buying from you so that they will buy from them. I'm not saying that is what happened in this case but it has been reported before.

I agree, I some times wonder if sellers have a friend run up bidding. I lost out on a Honda Trail by $25.00, was high until the last few sec.  Cry  Oh well, would have to go all the to Bloomington, In. to pick up.  Undecided
